The gentle night admire

The night gently
surround me
The birds
Sing in the night

It was a pleasant night, enough to lure the mind.

Natalie quietly slipped out of the window so as not to wake the person sleeping next to her. It was midnight. The moon was there, big and round, almost big enough to touch. The unpopular night seemed to play gentle music. She remembered a song she used to love.

Why can birds fly?
Why can birds sing?

The night, neither cold nor hot, like a human skin temperature, seems to come and go at the threshold of night.

Maybe the clock has sunk into the night.

Natalie walked barefoot through the garden, enjoying the feel of it, and then lay down under a large tree in the garden to look up at the moon. Stretching her arms and legs long, relaxing her neck, and spreading her chest out to the sky, she saw some birds perched on the tree, 123456, 7 birds.

They sang quietly in tune with the night.

Natalie did not know any birds that sang at night. Maybe that’s why, she felt restless and said, ‘I’m not in the mood’. but the birds’ concert was like a flurry, flapping their wings from branch to branch.

Surely the birds might be lured to sleep by the moon tonight. Natalie suddenly felt much better and the sounds sounded a little more beautiful.

Natalie watched the birds in the moonlight for a long time.

A couple of squirrels came out of their burrows and listened on a branch a little way off, wagging their fuzzy tails. Little bugs also twinkled in blessing and added to the feast. Tears came to Natalie’s eyes while she watched. What is wrong with me?

Why can't I fly?
Why can't I sing?

A bird landed on a low branch and said to Natalie.

“Don’t stay there, why don’t you fly?”

“No, I can’t fly, I was born without wings.”

“That can’t be true.”

“Because I’m not a bird.”

“That’s a funny thing to say, you’re a bird all right.”

The bird tilted its head and said.

“Come quickly. The night is long, but it doesn’t last forever.”

The next thing Natalie knew, she was back in her room, asleep in her bed. She woke up briefly at dawn but was still very sleepy, so she wrapped the sheets around her neck and fell into a deep sleep once more.

Next time she would fly away.
